Durch ihre experimentelle Kombination gelingt es ihm, ihr Verhalten mechanisch zu programmieren, indem er die Oszillationen zwischen Ordnung und Chaos, Muster und Dissonanz, Fluss und Reibung erforscht.

Doch ähnlich wie Algorithmen, die bei einem falsch gesetzten Semikolon abstürzen, sind Pe Langs kinetische Installationen minimalistische und doch hochkomplexe Systeme, bei denen jede einzelne Komponente durch ihre präzise Kombination zu einem faszinierenden Zusammenspiel beiträgt.Avec une approche quasi scientifique, l'artiste suisse Pe Lang exploite les propriétés intrinsèques des matériaux, formes et surfaces qu'il utilise. Par leur combinaison expérimentale, il parvient à programmer mécaniquement leurs comportements en explorant les oscillations entre ordre et désordre, motif et dissonance, flux et friction.

Mais tout comme des algorithmes qui plantent en présence d'un point-virgule mal placé, les installations cinétiques de Pe Lang sont des systèmes à la fois minimalistes et sophistiqués, où chaque détail participe par sa combinaison précise à créer une interaction captivante.Con un approccio quasi scientifico, l'artista svizzero Pe Lang sfrutta le proprietà intrinseche dei materiali, delle forme e delle superfici che utilizza. Attraverso la loro combinazione sperimentale, riesce a programmare meccanicamente i loro comportamenti esplorando le oscillazioni tra ordine e disordine, pattern e dissonanza, flusso e attrito.
