After opening our digital museum in February 2016, we have realised how important and needed computational learning has become. Although we currently offer workshops and learning tools here at the MuDA for kids and adults, we also think it should start in the classroom!

That is why in the Fall, the MuDA will offer our first module of workshops for teachers and administrators to not only introduce them to the world computational learning and electronics, but to also assist them in how to bring it back to the classroom (and even how to combine it with their current curriculum).

In this first module, we will offer three continuous workshops with a focus on tecniks (2 hours each):

Workshop 1 : Monday October 30, 2017
Intro to Electronics - What is that?
By taking apart electronic devices as DVD-players, CD-players, old cell phones, speakers, etc. we learn what’s in our daily used electronic devices. What can be reused, what the various electronic elements are, their functions and fun projects to use in the classroom.

Workshop 2 : Monday November 6, 2017
Soldering and Building Circuit Boards
A hands-on introduction to making and soldering circuit boards. After a short introduction into soldering we will learn to draw simple circuits that will adapt on a wood board that makes a simple and playful way to use in the classroom.

Workshop 3 : Monday November 13, 2017
In the Classroom / Questions / Problem Solving
After the DIY part of this module we talk about didactic and in what subjects the topics can be transferred. This module serves as an open forum for questions, problem solving and how to teach.

Workshop 1 : Montag Oktober 30, 2017 Einstieg in die Elektronik - Was ist was?
