MUDA – Museo di Arte Digitale, Europe’s first museum dedicated to digital art, is proud to announce the opening of its first exhibition in the iconic Castel Grande in Bellinzona.

Housed within the UNESCO-listed fortress, MUDA bridges the gap between medieval history and futuristic art. The museum’s exhibitions showcase works by pioneering digital artists, interactive installations, and experimental media, transforming the ancient castel into a vibrant centre for 21st-century expression.

Many thanks to the City of Bellinzona and our new team in Ticino for making this possible.MUDA, Europas erstes ausschliesslich digitaler Kunst gewidmetes Museum, freut sich, die Eröffnung seiner ersten Ausstellung im historischen Castel Grande in Bellinzona bekannt zu geben.

Untergebracht in der zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehörenden Festung, schlägt MUDA eine Brücke zwischen mittelalterlicher Geschichte und futuristischer Kunst. Die Ausstellungen des Museums präsentieren Werke wegweisender Digitalkünstler, interaktive Installationen und experimentelle Medien – verwandeln die alte Burg in ein lebendiges Zentrum für zeitgenössischen Ausdruck.

Danke an die Stadt Bellinzona und unserem neuen Team im Tessin, die dies möglich machten.Un nouveau lieu culturel fait son apparition au Tessin. MUDA – Museo di Arte Digitale, le premier musée d’Europe dédié à l’art numérique, est fier d’annoncer l’ouverture de sa première exposition dans l’emblématique Castel Grande de Bellinzone.

Installé au sein de la forteresse classée au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO, MUDA crée un lien entre l’histoire médiévale et l’art futuriste. Les expositions du musée présentent des œuvres d’artistes numériques pionniers, des installations interactives et des médias expérimentaux, transformant l’ancien château en un centre dynamique d’expression du XXIe siècle.

Un grand merci à la Ville de Bellinzone et à notre nouvelle équipe tessinoise pour avoir rendu ce projet possible.Una nuova realtà culturale è arrivata in Ticino. Collocato all’interno della fortezza patrimonio UNESCO, MUDA crea un ponte tra la storia medievale e l’arte futuristica. Le mostre del museo presentano opere di artisti digitali pionieristici, installazioni interattive e media sperimentali, trasformando l’antico castello in un vivace centro di espressione del XXI secolo.
